I have a mac and I tried looking up a fix but there was nothing for a mac. Showing 1 - 7 of 7 comments. Is your game saved in the Steam Cloud? For future reference at least with win , use steam cloud like phroz said or occasionally copy your save file, so if that happens you can replace it with the backup.

If you were using Steam Cloud, you can try the following : In the folder where your programs are installed, you'll find a "Steam" folder. Of course backup it before. Since there will be no local content, Steam will download the latest save stored in the Cloud. Provided it was enabled beforehand. I dont know if steam cloud was enabled or not. How do I check and see if it is or not?
